Course Update

Over the past few weeks, the team has been busy carrying out important works around the course to improve water flow and overall course conditions. These projects will play a key role in long-term water management and playability.

Work Completed

Clearing sediment from the wetland on the right-hand side of the 7th fairway.

Wetland on 7th Fairway – Before
Wetland on 7th Fairway – After

Removing sediment from the front section of the wetland between the 1st and 11th holes, where we have recently completed the wetland enhancement.

Wetland – Before
Wetland – After

Clearing the entire right-hand side creek line on the 13th hole, from approximately 150m short of the green, continuing around to the back of the 17th green. This will significantly improve water movement and drainage in this area

13th Boundary Creek – Before
13th Boundary Creek – After

To facilitate this work, we have used the path across the 5th fairway. This area will be clearly marked as Ground Under Repair (GUR), with two blue drop zones stakes. Please use the nearest drop zone when taking relief.

Upcoming Works – Subsurface Drainage

Starting next week, from 23rd February, we will commence subsurface drainage installation on holes 5, 7, and 10.

The schedule will be as follows:

10th hole (first)
7th hole (Second)
5th hole (final)

During this period, 11A will be in play for approximately 3–4 weeks, with holes alternating closures depending on where works are taking place. You will play 11A after the 11th hole. Please follow signs and directional signs when each hole is closed for your safety while we have heavy machinery around the construction zones.

The soil excavated during the drainage installation will be repurposed on the left-hand side of the 10th fairway (before the bunker). We will remove the existing poor-quality soil in that area and relocate it to the 12–13 tree line to assist with tree root problems. These soil piles will be spread along the tree line, and a local rule will apply:

Relief may be taken from stockpiled soil.
