The first qualifying round for both men and women start next week!
Please ensure you read the information below regarding qualifying for this Match Play event to guarantee you don’t miss your opportunity to become Mona Vale Golf Club’s Club Champion.
There will be two qualifying Stroke rounds before the top 8 (on a countback) men and women in each grade advance to Match Play.
PLEASE NOTE
Due to the planned handicapping system shutdown in preparation for the new handicapping system – Golf CONNECT, we are freezing all handicaps before qualifiers. Women’s handicaps will be frozen from Wednesday 24th and Men’s from Thursday 25th September.
To qualify you MUST:
1) Write your name on the Registration sheet located in the Pro Shop on the day of the first qualifying round.
2) MiScore can be used by you and your partner, the scores must be cross-checked hole by hole, confirmed, and signed by yourself and your marker.
3) For men you must have played 10 handicapped rounds at this Club or have a valid Away handicap from another club in which your score history must have 10 handicapped rounds. The same applies to women but for 5 handicapped rounds.
Note: The Match Committee and the Board take these major championships very seriously. Please make sure you are eligible and available to participate in all dates of the event before registering to qualify.
If you register and then qualify and subsequently fail to show up for the next stages of the event, you will be asked to explain your non-attendance to the Club Captain/Women’s Captain and the Match Committee.
