The course has recovered incredibly well over the past 24 hours. Tomorrow, the course will be open and golf carts will be permitted. We would ask that all golf cart drivers use the concrete pathways as much as possible and keep away from the roped-off areas. The warm days and the recent coring renovations has certainly made a huge difference in getting the course back in play, and with carts.
Due to recent rain, we will continue with the local rules from last week. Preferred lies in the “General area’ will be in place until the course dries up. As highlighted last week, there is quite a lot of damaged turf from the recent rainfall and standing water. These areas will not be marked with white paint as there are too many. Relief may be taken at the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole. Please consult with your playing partner prior to taking relief. This rule will remain in place until next week.
Any bunkers with a stake will be classed as GUR. Relief may be taken from any stockpiled debris. Huge thank you to the green staff for getting the course back in shape for the weekend of golf.
Have a great weekend of golf.
