As recommended in Craig Parry’s review, the Board has decided to change holes 14 to 18. This is mainly due to the practicality of exiting greens 15 and 18 during the construction of our Clubhouse. The new re-routing will be as follows
- Once you have completed the current 13th hole, you will play the current 18th as the 14th hole.
- Once you have played the new 14th, you will exit the green on the right-hand side and play the current 16th hole as the 15th.
- Then play the current 17th as the 16th.
- Then play the current 14th as the new 17th.
- Play the current 15th hole as the new 18th hole and exit left of the green.
This will help with current diversions and require less wear across the back of 15th and 18th greens. We will play the revised layout during the construction of the new Clubhouse. On conclusions, the Board will review and listen to feedback on whether the temporary re-routing would remain in place.
We have a number of changes which need to be made before we can implement the re-routing of these holes. They include course signage, scorecards, MiScore and the GPS within the golf carts. It is anticipated the re-routing will be in place over the next two weeks.
