Tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd August is the start of the annual men’s Eclectic competition, and the men’s Order of Merit competition.
These competitions run concurrently with the Wednesday and Saturday competitions all the way through to Saturday 15th July. The leaderboards of these events can be seen in the Members Portal online.
This Saturday, 6th August is the qualifying round for the 2022 Cock of the Walk event. We are looking forward to a well contested event after the disappointment of having to cancel the 2021 event.
32 players will qualify for handicap match-play rounds beginning 13th August, continuing rounds on Saturdays 20th & 27th August. Semi-finals held on Saturday 10th September and the Final on Saturday 17th September. You must ensure that you are able to participate in all rounds to be eligible to qualify.
All members wishing to qualify for this event must use a physical scorecard to record their round. You will also need to mark your scorecard with a ‘Q’ to confirm you wish to participate in this event. The scorecard must be signed by both player and marker to be eligible.
You will be unable to qualify using the MiScore App.
This Saturday, 6th August is also the start of the annual T20 competition which runs concurrently with the Saturday competitions. This event culminates in a Grand Final on Saturday 20th May 2023 for the top 32 players.
