Works have commenced on the 10th to remove the front right-hand side bunker. This means we have implemented a shorter 10th hole to ensure the safety of our greens team as they work. The hole will return to regular length on Thursday as it is the first day of our Ladies Club Championship.
The sand from the bunker was removed on Monday, and works to remove concrete and fill in the bunker with existing dirt from the surrounding area was achieved today.
Not only are our golfers happy about the removal of the 10th bunker, but our local birds are ecstatic with the mass amount yummy worms that we have unearthed. We had 3 Kookaburra’s and 2 Miner Birds sharing their new found honey pot this afternoon.
