Thank you to all 655 members that took the time to respond to our Member Vaccination Survey. This survey proved to be a valuable snapshot of our members’ sentiments towards vaccination and the willingness to return to normal competition play.
The Club has now been able to implement a number of administrative actions to allow us to continue our normal booking procedures whilst adhering to the health orders that allow for groups of 4 vaccinated persons. The results of our survey showed overwhelming support for a return to groups of 4 players, and the willingness of our members to provide their vaccination status has allowed us to adjust our competition timesheets accordingly.
The primary question of the survey was “what will be your vaccination status as of the 13th September 2021?”
The timeliness of this question allowed us to give stronger weighting to our allocation of groups of 4’s in the competition timesheets. Respondents to this question indicated that 85% would be fully vaccinated by this time and a further 13% would have received their first dose.
Thank you to the 540 members that have already sent through their vaccination certificates. This has allowed a significant increase in timesheet capacity available since we added groups of 4 to our timesheets on Thursday 16th September. As a number of our members will be receiving their second doses within the next month, we will continue to monitor the timesheets each day to better gauge the required ratio of groups of 2’s to 4’s.
