The course is recovering well from the recent renovations. Sam and his team are currently sanding some of the fairways that have not fully recovered from the fairway scarification. Once these areas have recovered within the next few weeks we will remove the “preferred lies”.
The greens are looking fabulous after recovering from the recent coring and are getting quicker each week. There are lots of un-repaired pitch marks so we would ask that extra care and attention is taken. When you reach the putting surface, please repair your pitch marks as well as any others which may have been missed.
Course Closed Thursday Afternoons from 4pm –

Over the past twelve months, the course has been very busy with either member competitions or public bookings. Currently, we have time sheets booked until 4pm three weeks in advance. This is great for golf and good for business. However, Sam and his team are struggling to keep up with regular maintenance and frequent spraying of chemicals, pesticides and application of fertilisers. In order for Sam to work under best practice in relation to the maintenance on the course, we will be closing the course on Thursday afternoons from 4pm.
Nobody will be permitted to tee off the 1st tee after 4pm. The practice facilities will remain open, however Sam has the discretion to close these greens if required.
