| Thank you for your feedback in relation to the two week trial of the members “Call”. There were a number of suggestions from the membership and we thank everyone, who took the time to offer feedback. The “Call” has been running for a number of years, it has always been a great social interaction opportunity for our membership. In the past, it may have been a chance to increase revenue over the bar, however in recent times this is certainly not the case. The Board feel the members “Call” is a valuable event and a good chance for members to come to the Club, maybe have a practice, then attend the “call” with their mates. It is also viewed as another way you can support the Club and the membership.
As of Tuesday 23rd February, the “Call” will return permanently on a Tuesday night at 5.30pm. 60% of the time sheet will be released at the Club and 40% online at 7pm through the current lottery system. Each member will be permitted to book four people as per usual. We would encourage members to attend the members ‘Call” at the Club, if possible. This is a great way to meet new members and enjoy a drink and laugh.
The Friday “Call” will be deferred for the time being.
