Dear Members
In accordance with compulsory check-in regulations and the Northern Beaches zone restrictions we have an obligation to properly check-in each player entering the Club and verify their residential address.
This process will ensure the safety and well-being of our Club and community but we are aware of the inconvenience this may pose until we become accustomed to these precautions.
We ask that until these zone restrictions are lifted please do not book yourself in for a game or arrive at the Club with an intention to play or practice if you reside outside of the Northern zone.
All persons will be required to check-in via the Service NSW platform not just at our Club but all venues so please download the Service NSW app immediately to streamline the process at each venue.
Download the Service NSW app here using your smartphone
If unsure how to use the Service NSW app click on link below for guidance
If you do not have a suitable device with you to scan the QR code, our staff will be able to manually check-in for you on our device at registration.
Please follow these guidelines to ensure your safety when coming to play golf at Mona Vale Golf Club:
- Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your tee time to ensure sufficient time for registration at the front door of the Pro Shop
- Adhere to social distancing markers and remain 1.5 metres from nearest person whilst queuing in the designated lines at the entrance to the Pro Shop.
- There will be a one-way flow of traffic undercover from outside the Pro Shop through a marquee to the registration station, into the Pro Shop and exiting through rear storage area. This will be signposted and enforced to avoid unnecessary congestion and gathering.
- The driveway entrance to the front of the clubhouse will be barricaded off, so as to keep this free for the parking of golf carts pre and post-game. Please do not drive through here and attempt to collect your golf bag from the storage area.
- Every individual player must be checked-in and provide ID verification of address – please have your phone and ID ready. No exceptions unfortunately!
- There will be large QR code posters on the way to the registration station to allow each person to scan before reaching the Pro Shop. Confirmation must be shown to the staff member along with your ID for postcode verification.
- If you do not have the capability to scan a QR code on your phone, our staff will manually enter your details on a device at registration
- Only four persons at a time will be allowed into the Pro Shop to maintain appropriate social distancing
- Please remain in your group whilst waiting for your tee time and avoid any gathering at each tee
- All competition scorecards will be returned to the kiosk downstairs in the Clubhouse after the completion of your round.
We do understand that this will inconvenience a few people as demand for golf is so high, so please be prepared for this procedure and we will all be able to safely continue playing golf.
Thank you for your understanding.
Stay safe and Happy New Year
