Dear members

The following restrictions will apply to all members and public visiting Mona Vale Golf Club. These measures reflect the social distancing regulations. Please maintaining a distance of 1.5 metres and restrict gatherings to no more 2 people. The Club will be monitoring and managing these requirements.

Once you have completed your round of golf, you can drop your score card into the designated box outside the Proshop. Take away food and beverage will be available.

Under the regulation of social distancing, you are unable to remain at the Club in groups of more than two people. We would advise leaving the premises upon completion of your round.

Managing social distancing with members and social play will be a challenge over the coming months. It is imperative, that all players including members playing socially check in with the Proshop prior to playing or practicing on the course. No member is permitted on the course without checking in at the Proshop. I would suggest that all members phone the Proshop prior to leaving home to avoid disappointment in case the course is busy. This will assist us in ensuring social distancing is being adhered too.

The past few weeks have been very challenging. I would like to thank the entire membership for their cooperation during these difficult times. Last week, I observed all members complying with processes we have put in place, and for this I am very grateful. The staff at MVGC are here to help and hopefully assist the members through these somewhat different playing conditions. Let’s keep positive and appreciate we are still playing the game we love.
