Part of the year one strategic actions is to continue with course drainage. Course Superintendent, Nick Taplin, highlighted the 5th and 10th holes as the first priority in the plan for draining the golf course. The recent wet weather has highlighted that many areas still need to drain across the course. Depending on the contractor’s availability, the 5th and 10th holes will be done in June/July 2025. The total cost for drainage on these holes is $105K.
See below the areas on the 5th and 10th fairways, where the drainage will be installed.
