Update in Men’s Yearly Competitions

Men’s “Order of Merit”
This competition is a cumulative total of points earned in member competition (Wednesday, Saturday). It runs in the background and your current position can be found on the website under Order of Merit. 

CURRENT STANDINGS: As of March 21st, the OOM continues to be held by John Helm on 629 points, with Shannon Cameron second on 560 points and Reay Nichols 559 points. Ten players are within 50 points of second place. Plenty of competitions enter before the middle of July cut-off. Simply play on Wednesday or Saturday to compete for points.

Eclectic competition
One of the fun competitions of the year; in this competition, your best score on an individual hole during the year is recorded to enable you to calculate the lowest round total you achieved for 18 holes over the year.

CURRENT STANDINGS: In the Gross Eclectic as of 21st March, sees a significant change at the top end with evergreen Greg Stanford tied on 51 along with Brucey Edwards and Rob Chambers. Make some birdies and eagles and you may challenge this crew.
A Nett Eclectic is also running in each grade, and scores are available on the website. Check it out to see where you sit on the ladder.

T20 Competition
The T20 has entered the closing 6 weeks, with the elimination finals to be held on the second Saturday 10th May with the final the following Saturday 17th May at the end of the field.

This competition is modelled off the FedEx Cup event in the PGA and rewards performance in Saturday competition to those who come in the top 60 each week. The top 60 qualifiers contest an elimination final on 10th of May and the field is reduced to 32 for the Final on May 17th. Details are located under the Order of Merit tab on the website.

CURRENT STANDINGS: T20 2025 see Dave Shorten (1340) maintaining his lead over Peter Fakos (1333) and Brett Creagh and Josh Blyth breathing down their necks. Still 6 Saturdays to go and plenty of opportunity to make the play offs.
