What a wonderful way to finish up a great year of golf. Thursday was a beautiful sunny day with a fresh ocean breeze to cool us down. The Marquee was decorated for Christmas festivities which complemented the ladies stunning Christmas themed outfits.
Many thanks to Jack for his chipping on the 15th and Simon for the wine tasting. The ladies on the 15th helped boost ladies golfing skills with $5 margaritas with a choice of 5 different seasoning salts.
The prize of golf lessons was won by wooden spooners, Jo Carmody, Louise Clement and Jenni Treble, who will be encouraged and will benefit greatly from the lessons. Congratulations to winning team of Beth Bailes, Annette Mackrill, Cheryl Reeves and Julia Tucker with a runaway score of 97.
Everyone got into the spirit of the day and dressed up for the occasion in their Christmas gear, even the groundsmen with their Santa hats. The best dressed team were unrecognizable in their Christmas tree outfits and won hands down. Special mention to the team of elves who got off the shelf for a game of golf.
