The Men’s Order of Merit competition concluded on Saturday 15th July and in the end it was a no contest!
Congratulations to our most successful senior golfer in the Club – Stefan Albinski with a score of 1009 points. Unfortunately the rest of the field were left far behind but special mention goes to Greg Stanford in 2nd with 813 points and Tony Sedgwick in third with 803 points.
The Ladies Order of Merit continues on through to November but we have a tight race between Peta Gilliland on 318 points and Colleen Fleming on 309 points, who are both way out in front to date.
The Men’s Eclectic competition was due to conclude this week but with two abbreviated competitions already in place this year due to the course re-routing it was decided by the Match Committee to keep this Eclectic competition running for the duration of the new layout. There’s already some very healthy competition in both the Nett and Gross competitions between the frontrunners, Shannon Cameron and Jon Kane, and so the extra couple of months should produce a few more exceptional scores!

The Ladies Eclectic continues on through to November as per normal but we are seeing a pattern here with Peta Gilliland out in front in both the Gross and Nett Eclectic overall competitions. Well done Peta!
