Mona Vale were defeated 4 ½ to 3 ½ by Kogarah at Pennant Hills on Sunday
At halfway – things looked grim. All of a sudden the tide turned with Trevor Beale winning his last 3 holes for a half and Jon Kane coming back from 3 down with 6 to play to Win on the last hole.
When Greg Stanford won 5/4 – all of the sudden we were back in it.
The day came down to our number 1&2 with Andy Hugill and Bruce Edwards needing a win and a half to tie the day.
Bruce Edwards birdied 17 then parred the tough 18th for a half – so the day came down to the last hole with Andy Hugill needing to win the 18th
The Kogarah no. 1 holed a 9 foot curler on the last hole to halve the match and therefore win the day
Doesn’t get any closer than that!!!!

Jon Kane winning his last 3 matches

Mona Vale halved Cabramatta 4 matches all at Cabramatta on Sunday.
This was a Massive result and puts Mona Vale in the box seat to win a strong division.
Wins came from our top 3 – Andy Hugill, Bruce Edwards & Stefan Albinski while we had 2 halved matches from John Karren and Trevor Beale
The day came down to the last put on the last hole!!!
Our next match this Sunday is at Mona Vale v Cronulla at 11am
