The reconstruction of the bunkers on the 1st hole are now complete. The project took a little longer than anticipated due to the wet weather in the middle of construction.
The Green staff have spent lots of time packing the bunker faces to ensure the ball does not plug and that it finishes at the base of the bunker. This involves applying water and driving a course vehicle up and down the bunker face until firm. Please do not enter or exit the bunker by walking up or down the steep parts of the bunker face. Always enter and exit the bunker from the flattest part of the bunker, even if this is a longer walk to your ball.
There will be a full update on each stage of the capillary bunker process in the next course video communication.

The 1st hole will be back in play as of Wednesday 31st May.
