MVGC Reopening Wednesday 15th December

Dear members

The NSW Government roadmap for reopening has identified Wednesday 15th December as the day there will be further easing of community restrictions across NSW.

The Board of Mona Vale Golf Club have decided to act in accordance with this roadmap and remove the restrictions we have in place as per current Public Health Orders.

Taking effect on Wednesday 15th December:

  • Masks will not be required indoors within the Clubhouse or Pro Shop. Front of house hospitality staff are required to wear a mask if unvaccinated. Even though all of our bar and office staff are fully vaccinated, the wearing of masks is still a personal choice so many of our staff may continue to wear a mask whilst in customer facing roles so please respect their decision.
  • Checking in via the Service NSW is still required for entry into the clubhouse as we are a Registered Club. The QR codes and iPad will still be placed at the entry points of our reception, main bar and bunker bar for your convenience.
  • There is no requirement to check in at the Pro Shop as this is a retail premises.
  • Proof of vaccination status for members or guests is not required.
  • Whilst we still encourage safe social distancing on a personal level, there are no longer any density limits applied to our indoor or outdoor areas.
  • Groups of four will be available to all on the golf course
  • We look forward to welcoming all members and guests back into our clubhouse for dining in, a quick drink, or grabbing takeaways for the course.
