Following the retirement of Ross Watson, who was engaged as course architect at MVGC for over thirty years, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Parry as Mona Vale Golf Club’s new course architect. One of the Club’s strategic goals in the golf course strategy plan was to appoint a new course architect. The Board felt there were so many opportunities at our great Club to continue to improve the design and playability of our course.
Modern day technology has changed the way golf courses play. The Club has requested that Craig conducts a full appraisal of the course in its current layout and what he feels could be improved both short and long term. Craig lives locally and I’m sure you will be seeing lots of him over the coming months as he conducts his review.
Part of the Club’s communication and engagement strategy will include a Q&A with Craig following the his review.
