This year’s event for both Ladies and Men’s Championships is Stroke Play over 4 consecutive rounds.
The Ladies’ Club Championships will commence with the Qualifying round on Thursday 4th November and the second Qualifying round on Thursday 11th November.
The Men’s Club Championships will commence with the Qualifying round on Saturday 6th November and the second Qualifying round on Saturday 13th November.
To qualify you MUST:
1) Use a score card and put “Q” on it on the first round if you wish to participate in the event. Preferably place the “Q” in the top left corner (the Miscore App can’t do this for you).
2) The card must be signed by yourself and your marker. You must check your score accurately.
3) You must be financial and have played 10 handicapped rounds at this Club or have a valid handicap from another club from which you may have transferred recently.
4) Please check your handicap on the card is correct and that the card is dated.
Note: The Match Committee and the Board take these major championships very seriously. If you put “Q” on your card, make sure you are eligible and available to participate in all dates of the event.
Ladies Championships: 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th November
Men’s Championships: 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th November
(Rounds 3 & 4 will be seeded in grades. These rounds will be played at the end of the field)
If you put “Q” on your card then qualify and subsequently fail to show up for the next stages of the event, you will be asked to explain your non-attendance to the Club Captain/Ladies Captain and the Match Committee.
***Penalty of 2 weeks suspension from play could apply if the explanation for your “no-show” is unreasonable.
