Last week our Trainee Pro Jack McLeod played at Blackheath Golf Club and achieved some amazing results. The event was 36 holes with an 8:30am shotgun start, but a 1.5 hour delay due to heavy fog meant they couldn’t tee off until 10am.
Jack shot 5 under par 62 in the first round, and due to the delayed start, wasn’t allowed a break and had to head straight into the second round. Jack continued his impressive performance shooting 4 under par 63 in the second round, totaling 9 under par for 36 holes and winning the event by 2 shots!
This was an amazing effort by Jack, especially with the tough conditions on the day. Keep up the good work!
