It was a beautiful Sunday morning at Pymble Golf Club and team was well prepared, all having played the course through the week. We were quietly confident of a good result. With minor positional switches in the starting seven we were very keen to go.
The line up on the day was:

It was a solid start from our guys and, just like Round One, the match was extremely close throughout the front nine. Pymble was just noses in front at the halfway mark. The match seesawed back and forth throughout the back nine with some fantastic golf being played. Our team gave themselves a fantastic chance by playing the tough par-3 15th as well as any team I have ever seen, with a combined 3 or 4 under par for that hole.
Pymble were 3 matches to 2 in front, with Shannon Cameron 1 down with 4 holes to play and Alex Munro square at the same point. Both Shannon and Alex finished their matches brilliantly under pressure, Shannon winning one up on the 18th and Alex winning his match 2 and 1 to secure a 4/3 victory for Mona Vale.
Other winners on the day were Bruce Edwards and the mighty Jake Dundas who is in outstanding form at the moment.
This Sunday we play Cronulla Golf Club at home and would love to see as many supporters as possible out there to cheer us on! Many thanks to those of you who came along on Sunday to support us at Pymble. Have a great week and see you at Mona Vale this coming Sunday morning 7am tee off!
