The Board determined by resolution, dated 8th February 2021, to appoint Nick Abba as an additional Director of Mona Vale Golf Club, pursuant to section 30(1)(b1) of the Registered Clubs Act and clause 31 of the Registered Clubs Regulation 2015 (NSW) . The period of his appointment will be until the conclusion of the November 2021 AGM of MVGC.
In accordance with the requirements of Clause 31 of the Registered Clubs Regulation , the following information is provided in relation to his appointment:
(a) Nick Abba has been appointed as a Director in order to access his connection with the younger age categories of playing members and potential playing members of the Club. This is In order to encourage sustainable younger membership numbers,
(b) Nick Abba has been a playing member of the Club for 4 years, has his own local business and has connections with the younger golfing community, and
(c) No payments will be made to Nick Abba in connection with his appointment.
