A member who attended the Club on Wednesday 16th December has tested positive to Covid-19. The member was at the Club from 11am until 10pm. The member attended the “Waggers” dinner.
Anyone, who was at the Club on Wednesday 16th December, between 11am and 10pm, should get tested.
If you attended the “Waggers” dinner, you should get tested and isolate until results are available. All staff at MVGC have been tested, everyone who has received the results to date, have registered a negative result. It is likely that all staff and members, who attended the Waggers dinner will be deemed close contacts and will need to go into home isolation for 14 days, and have an exit test on day 10-12.
The member has been contacted by NSW Health and given details of their whereabouts. Mona Vale Golf Club will provide all the details of members and staff, who attended the Club on the above dates and times. The QR code data base will be used for contact tracing. As soon as any other information becomes available, the Club will action immediately via email.
We ask that all members take the above information very seriously. The current three day lockdown may be extended, if the above information is deemed close contact.
