For the first time in a long time, yesterday’s Junior Cup was won by a Mona Vale member, when Kallum Grant (off a soon to be reduced) 33 handicap, produced an amazing round to score 46 stableford points, and easily win the major trophy.

The course was beautifully presented by Sam and his team once again, and they set up the course a bit shorter for the Juniors to encourage some good scoring. Keeping up the good scores, Michael Eksteen from Monash CC won the scratch with 38 points, shooting 2 under the card!
There was a quality field of 59 juniors which included 12 girls, and represented 28 clubs, ranging from Wentworth Falls to Magenta Shores. The strength of the field meant that two Divisions were required for grading and half of the field were on single figure handicaps.
There was a great selection of prizes and a complimentary golf ball for all participants largely due to the generosity of our members in their donations, so thank you to all that supported the day.
