Significant Local Rule Changes as of July 1st
Firstly, I would like to thank every member for their patience and understanding over the past few months. The local rule changes have been accepted and adhered to. In some instances, we may have learned a thing or two about the game of golf.
I am very pleased to announce that as of tomorrow, 1st July, the following changes will be made:
- Two people are permitted to travel in a cart together.
- You may REMOVE AND TOUCH the pin if you wish.
- The nearest the pins will return on all Par 3’s (no grades).
- Ball washers may be used.
- Swapping cards is permitted, however, we would encourage the use of the MiScore App as this will be the desired scoring method going forward.
- The touch screens outside the men’s locker rooms will be in use for the non MiScore App users. The Proshop terminal will not be in use for score input. DO NOT put your score card into the box or draw without inputting scores first.
The Following Local Rules Will Remain Until the Next Stage
- Bunker rule (15cm preferred lie).
- No water bubblers in use.
- Kissing or shaking hands is not recommended.
Clubhouse Operations
We are excited to welcome members back in to the upstairs Member’s Lounge for Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 3pm-6:30pm, and Thursdays from 10am for lunch service. As with the Bunker Bar, we ask that you comply with the procedures put in place to ensure the safety of all members and staff.
There will be a sign in register at the entrance to the Members Lounge as this will be our only entrance. We must maintain social distancing with the traffic coming in and out of the Members Lounge, for this reason balcony access and the Men’s Locker Room access will remain closed. Social distancing must be adhered to when queuing, so please take notice of the markings on the floor. Tables have been set in the function room to accommodate any overflow of patrons, as the number of chairs set in the Members Lounge is our maximum capacity.
The Bunker Bar will continue it’s current bar and takeaway cafe operations, but will be closed on Thursdays.
The Reception area will be open from 10am -3pm Monday to Friday.
Due to our limited seating in both the Members’ Lounge and the Bunker Bar, we will not be taking lunch bookings.
The priority booking sheet will remain in place on Tuesdays and Fridays with normal bookings to follow until the waitlist reduces significantly.
