Sunday 3rd August v Wyong
Great News – MVGC has won the Masters Pennant for the second year in a row with victory over Wyong in the Grand Final!
The competition started over 3 months ago with 96 teams across NSW, making this a marathon effort.
This was a team win with all 11 players contributing throughout the season.
Wins came from Pearson, Stanford, Karren, Hemsley & Beale with Albinski & Edwards still on course and in contention when our victory was sealed.
Thanks again to our caddies and many supporters throughout the year.
Sunday 21st July v Liverpool
Mona Vale had a tight win against Liverpool on Sunday at Pennant Hills.
Our match came down to the last hole with our number 1 player Mark Pearson making Par to seal victory!!!
There was some fantastic golf played by both teams on fast, tricky greens.
We now go into the semi final against Links Shell Cove this Sunday at Twin Creeks.

Sunday 14th July v Long Reef
Mona Vale defeated Long Reef in the local derby on Sunday at the new Strathfield Lay out.
It was another strong performance throughout the team.
Our rookie Mike McKinnon made it 2 wins in a row in the finals with a 7/6 victory.
We now advance to the quarter finals against Liverpool this Sunday at Pennant Hills at 11am.
It would be great to see our many supporters at Pennants Hills this Sunday as we enter the business end of the season.

Sunday 7th July v Nelson Bay
Mona Vale defeated Nelson Bay on Sunday handsomely with our BIG 4 flexing their muscles.
Mark Pearson 4/3, Bruce Edwards 7/6, Stefan Albinski 6/5 & Greg Stanford 5/4 finished the match off with the little 3 (Hemsley, McKinnon & Beale) still on the course. Any matches still playing when 4 wins are confirmed are deemed halves.
We now play Long Reef at Strathfield this Sunday at 11am in the round of 16.
