A few of our members have enjoyed some success in senior events lately, with four members having qualified for the NSW Senior Open at Thurgoona in October.
Last week John Karren took out the Coffs Coast Seniors at Bonville and Coffs Harbour with a well played 76 and 70 off the stick, earning his qualification.
Greg Stanford won the Duntryleague Senior Open in May to earn his qualification and recently placed runner-up at the Manly Seniors event with a score of 74 on a count-back.
Stefan Albinski placed third at the Manly Seniors event with a score of 75 on a count-back, earning his spot in the NSW Seniors Open.
Mark Pearson won our MVGC Senior Order of Merit back in June as well as the NSW Senior Amateur Championships in March.
