Yesterday, all matches were played at Mona Vale where we took on the previously undefeated Long Reef team. With Rod Dick and Graeme MacDougal returning to the team, we were at full strength and hoping for a big win on our home course.<\/p>\n
David Rose and Nigel Westgarth both won early to set up yet another nail biting finish with 3 matches being decided on 18 as we eventually won 5 to 2.5.<\/p>\n

Our mid table finish means, that in next week’s finals, we play Manly in the battle for the Would-Be Trophy and have avoided any possibility of becoming reacquainted with the all too familiar Wooden Spoon.<\/p>\n
