New Clubhouse – Now Open<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before we open, let’s <\/span>take a<\/span> step back and look at where our journey began.<\/span><\/p>\n

We embarked on this journey in 2021<\/strong><\/span>,<\/span> engaging our membership in a proposal to transform our operations. Our strategic plan for 2020-2025, a product of our shared vision, underscored the importance of achieving financial sustainability and ensuring our clubhouse remains a place that meets our members’ expectations while being financially viable. To do this, we proposed changing our current food and beverage operating model by subleasing the top floor and renovating the lower level into our new clubhouse. <\/span><\/p>\n

By the close of 2021<\/strong><\/span>, we had appointed a project manager, HGW<\/a> and had engaged Team 2<\/a>, our architect, in designing the new clubhouse. Additionally, we signed a sublease agreement with the Dedes Group for the top level of our clubhouse.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

APRIL 2022<\/strong><\/span> –<\/strong><\/span> We had submitted our DA request to the council and had sought tenders from multiple builders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAY 2022<\/span> \u2013<\/strong> Brought the first rendered images of our clubhouse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OCTOBER 2022<\/strong>\u2013 Despite the unforeseen delay, the DA approval was granted, marking a significant milestone in our project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEBRUARY 2023<\/strong><\/span> – The back-and-forth with the builders at tender took longer than expected. However, we negotiated with SMLXL, and they <\/span>were selected<\/span> as the builders for our project. We also took delivery of many of our temporary facilities, getting our operations ready to start building at any moment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>

MARCH 2023<\/span><\/strong> – Fencing went up and we moved out! It’s been so long since then. Let’s take a walk down memory lane and revisit our Club as it was back then. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
