There is so much to like about this unique layout. Set high on a hill, you begin your round by teeing off down towards flatter ground where you will remain until your climb up to the tenth brings you back to the clubhouse.

The first ten holes have a parkland setting, away from the sea with the lush fairways lined heavily by trees of many varieties.  Holes 11-18 take on a distinctly 'links' feel: more open, fewer trees, closer to the ocean, far more susceptible to the nor'easterly ocean breeze that blows most often.

On calm days holes can play easy but when the wind comes...good luck!
Not surprisingly, Mona Vale Golf Club has established a proud reputation as the "Friendly Club".  Visitors can be assured of an enjoyable day's play when they come to Mona Vale and will remember the fun and friendship.  After all, that is what the game of golf is all about.
